As far as the historical and monumental heritage is concerned, the Castle of Alandroal stands out, especially the door flanked by towers and a horseshoe arch of marble from the region;
The Shrine of Our Lady of the Assumption of the Good News has a patriotic and religious significance. In 1340 the Moors invaded Andalusia, and the queen, wife of Afonso XI of Castile, ordered the current church to be built there, to thank for the help that the king rendered to the son-in-law Afonso IV, in the battle of Salado. It is a gothic temple of the XIV century, threatened and with canopies. It is classified as a national monument.
The numerous megalithic vestiges are also worthy of reference.
